These tiny .96 inch 128*64 are becoming popular now days. the main reason behind their popularity is their small size and the lower counts of pins used.
Since this is a new interface to the hobbyist so their are lesser tutorials available for this. I found this tutorial very clear and simple in understanding the OLED interface with Arduino.
