Using a PC power supply as Lab bench supply

A power source is a part of every laboratory. But the transformer power is very expensive. This article of today is about making us a powerful source of power for various voltage values.
We will make a power source for our lab today using the power source of a PC.
The power source of a PC is available with all voltages which are required in a laboratory. And its carrying capacity is also quite high. In this, the positive and negative values of all the potentials like 3.3, 5, 12 are available for a laboratory. And we need this only.
In the picture below we look at different points of a power connector. There is a different color of different voltage. We can pull out the wires that we want to use.

Method of making the power source

1. Remove all the unnecessary wires and do the hole for all the potential in the box.
2. Just keep yellow, red, green, orange, black and gray wire.
3. Put out the yellow wire and write + 12V (Remove at least four wires).
4. Bring the red wire out and write + 5V (Remove at least four wires).
5. Bring the orange wire out and write + 3.3V (Remove at least four wire).
6. Bring the black wire out and write the ground (remove at least eight wire).
7. Now take a switch and add both its points to the green and black wire.
8. Now take a 500 Ohm resistance, add one end to the gray wire and add the other end to the + point of the LED. Add the point of the LED to black wire. And apply the LED side to the outside.
9. Add a 10 Ohm / 10W resistance to 5 volts as a dump load.
