Digital Tachometer using Arduino

Tachometer is a device which calculates the RPM ( Rotation Per Minute) and displays that. This can be of two type Analog or Digital. Analog are cheaper but are not much preferred and the digital are quite costlier. This link shares a design of a digital tachometer using Arduino.
