Simple battery full charge indication
Today we will discuss and design a simple circuit which will show the full charge indication of a charging battery.
This circuit can be built either using a dual colour LED or two different coloured LED. It uses the Zener diode to sense the battery full voltage.

Its operation is very simple. The current circuit is configured for the charging of a 12V lead-acid battery. And the full charge voltage is 14.2V. The Zener used here is of 11V. The resistance R1 sets the Zener and LED current to be active at 14.2V.
